The 13th Match between HBL PSL 2 will take place between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. Both the teams are fighting for the spirit of game. The match will be telecasted live at 20:00 Local Time (21:00 PKT).
Karachi Kings have built their confidence up winning their first match in this PSL against Islamabad. The DLRS method supported them and which led them open their account. Babar Azam played beautifully that with day with some glorious shots. Karachi Kings are still on last at the Points table just below Lahore Qalandars. They need a win here to be in this contest.
Peshawar Zalmi is having ups and downs in this tourney. Firstly, they lost the match, recovering that they won the match against Kings and Qalandars. Their match against Quetta was abandoned and lastly they again lost against Islamabad. Last night match was a last ball thriller against Islamabad which was good bowling effort from both teams at batting pitch. They are looking for some extra ordinary efforts from their players so that they have continuous wins.
Peshawar has dominated Karachi in all the matches of PSL so far. They have a lead of 3-0 against Karachi. Karachi doesn’t look comfortable on the pitch as they look on the paper. Lets see wether Karachi break Peshawar’s streak.
Karachi has some big names but are not performing up to the mark. Chris Gayle needs to stand up and lead the top order instead he is a failure. Pollard and Bopara needs to boost up teams score at the bottom which will be helpful later. Peshawar on the other hand have quite decent openers with the like of Tamim and Eoin Morgan who will play his last game today as he will move back to England for his national duty and he was the one who stood up against Karachi last time. Players from both sides need to perform to help their teams taste victory.
Expected Playing XI:
Zalmi: Tamim Iqbal, Kamran Akmal, M Hafeez, Eoin Morgan, Haris Sohail, Shakib al Hassan, Darren Sammy, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, M Asghar, Hassan Ali.
Kings: Chris Gayle, Babar Azam, Kumar Sangakkara, Shoaib Malik, Ravi bopara, K Pollard, Imad Wasim, M amir, Usama Mir, Sohail Khan, Usman Khan.
