A Flyover in Lahore to be dedicated to Sunil Narine

Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif has asked for the name of a place to be dedicated to West-Indian spinner Sunil Narine for his scintillating performance in the Super Over in the match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.

In the 24th fixtures of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League being played in Dubai, struggling Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings in a nail-biting Super Over bowled by West-Indian sensation Sunil Narine.

Following the match, BBC multimedia journalist Shiraz Hassan requested CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif to dedicate a flyover to Sunil Narine on Twitter.

In response, CM Punjab laughed at the novel suggestion and acquiesced to it, asking to identify a place for doing the honor.

In the same response, by exclaiming ‘what a match though!’ CM Shehbaz also expressed admiration at the thrilling contest. CM Shehbaz is a fond cricket lover who often expresses his emotions over Pakistan’s matches on social media.
