An open letter from Indian about Cricket Come Back in Pakistan

Dear Pak,

On behalf of all the Indians, we are looking forward to the Pakistan vs World XI series. BCCI might not have helped reviving cricket in Pakistan even 0.1% but I can assure you that there are people in big numbers waiting for this series here and possibly a big step in cricket returning to Pakistan. Not everyone here thinks of the same POV as that of BCCI and correlate politics/govt issue with sports. Even though less but numbers are quite overwhelming of sane cricket fans who will watch this series with great enthusiasm.

People have specially subscribed this new channel D Sports and it’s a paid service. I’ve seen people on social media complain that DTV service hasn’t provided this channel before hand. Tata Sky, Den, Hathway etc are few cable providers who have this channel provided on their set top box. JIO users can also watch this on JIO TV app and the channel is provided under Sports category that too HD.

“Cricket is like a religion to subcontinent, no matter how many differences we encounter, at the end of the day we crave for it helplessly and participate in each others festivals with open arms.”

Remember an Indian named Shashank Manohar, who is ICC chairman has helped a lot in revival of cricket and this tour of world XI along with ICC cricket restoration task force chairman, Giles Clarke wouldn’t have been possible. Production company of this broadcast involves few Indians and some journalist as well.

If not BCCI, if not Indian players, Indians will definitely pay back with the viewership of this series.

Hope, everything pans out well and a positive message is send across.

Also a huge shout out to players and boards of all the nations who have send their players. As they say in a family, if one is suffering others should help them and cricket fraternity has done every bit to help cricket being played on Pakistan soil once again.

Saying from my personal experience having visited Pakistan twice, when it comes to hosting and taking care of their guest, there’s no place better then Pakistan. They will make you believe like you are the king and the hospitality is second to none. This will be a lifetime experience for the world XI team and specially for those visiting Pak for the first time.
