Bastian Schweinsteiger says goodbye to Manchester United

Manchester United has confirmed that the 32-years-old German midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger will leave Manchester United for the MLS side Chicago Fire.

Jose did not even give Bastian enough chance to prove himself and make his place in the team. Bastian would have contribute a lot and help Manchester United in the nightmare they are currently in.

” I am sad to leave so many friends at Manchester United, But I am grateful to the club for allowing me the chance at Chicago Fire.”

Bastian Schweinsteiger joined Manchester United last year. He showed his passion and helped united in few big games during Van Gaal’s time. He was like the second most senior player in the squad and he could have built a great partnership in the midfield alongside Herrera and Carrick.

Bastian will go through a medical check up and visa is being obtained but Chicago is keen to finalize a swift transfer.

” I have enjoyed working with the manager, the players and staff here and wish them all the best in the future. But I have to reserve special thanks to the United fans – whose support has been very special part of my time in Manchester.” Bastian Added.

” I was delighted to be part of the squad that won the FA Cup for them last season and will always remember their energy and their passion. Now is the right time for me to start a new chapter in Chicago and I am looking forward to it.”

Other transfer details have not been released. Bastian is one of the most respected and loved player. Hopefully he’ll have a wonderful time in Chicago.
