A farewell series for the legends of Pakistan Misbah ul Haq & Younis Khan started on a victorious note. Pakistan is playing their 8th bilateral test series in Caribbean with only 6 Test wins so far out of 24 test matches they have played in West Indies from 17th January 1958 till 25th April 2017. Pakistan cricket team is still hunting for a series win on Caribbean Island since 1958. They have started the on going series on victory stand in the 1st match and with 2 matches still to be played they have a solid chance to get victory in the test series to make history for the 1st time on Caribbean Island. It could not be more then a memorable farewell for the MisYou legends of the Pakistan if Pakistan finishes the series on a victory stand.
Misbah & Co. are trying their level best to make a history for the 1st time in the history of test cricket on the Caribbean Land. If Pakistan manages to win the next 2 tests then Misbah will finish his career with 27 victories the most by any Pakistani Skipper. Pakistan should capitalise on what they have achieved so far and what they have to achieve in next 2 matches. All they need to do is to focus on much better performance to achieve historical landmark. One thing that worries me about Pakistan team is they got bit relax after victory and this will provide a chance to the opponents to bounce back, previously they were way ahead against the same opposition in UAE in 1st 2 test matches and took them on a lighter note which allowed Windies to bounce back and achieved a victory from no where.
Misbah has won an ODI Series in India in 2012-13 & he is the only Captain from subcontinent to win an ODI series in South Africa as well. A test series win in Caribbean will add more taste to his achievements so far.
Misbah & Younis both deserves a historical farewell and Pakistan team must utilise their all efforts and energy to say goodbye to the pillars of Pakistan cricket on a historical series victory.
As an editor i’m very much hopeful Misbah & Co. will achieve this landmark as well and they will make Pakistan proud of themselves. My best wishes to Misbah & Co. to achieve this landmark and they deserves this rightly through.
