Champions Trophy 2017

PREVIEW: Pakistan vs South Africa – ICC Champions Trophy

Inform South Africa will take on Pakistan on 7th June 2017 in the 7th match of ICC Champions trophy 2017. South Africa in this match are firm favorites as they have played their last match with confidence and their middle order is performing very well. Their bowling attack looks comprehensive and their sharp fielding skills are also appreciable. Pakistan on the other hand have faced a humiliated defeat from their arch-rivals India, but its not known how they will make their way out of the middle after that defeat.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Previously Pakistan’s strength was their bowling but nowadays they are bashed by the batsman and have not shown any kind of comprehensive approach in their bowling which is now become their weakness. Middle order experienced batsmen such as Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmad are the ones who are the backbone of the team.

However, South Africa’s top order is their strength. If the opposition team gets the 3 of their wickets early they are in the game. With the likes of Hashim Amla and De Kock at the start its very devastating for the other teams to bowl.
