Sohail Khan will also be shared as club’s main overseas player when Mohammad Abbas will be on national duty for Pakistan.
Leicestershire’s coach, Paul Nixon was glad about recruitment of Sohail Khan in January saying “It was vital that we secured high-class cover. Sohail Khan has a superb record both in red and white-ball cricket.”
He also added some praise for Mohammad Abbas who will be at club for majority of the time.
“We have been looking for a quality fast bowler as our overseas professional and Mohammad Abbas ticks all of the boxes. His Test match record is different class, he is the new kid on the block, and I am delighted to secure his signature.”
After the club confirmed Mohammad Nabi’s signing this morning, the coach Paul Nixon said “He can make a huge impact in our middle order and is an off-break bowler with great control and skill,”
Mohammad Nabi says he is glad to be a part of Leicestershire and cannot wait to work with Paul Nixon.
