The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently invited Cricket South Africa (CSA) to send their team to Pakistan just before the ICC T20 world cup in March 2020 to have a T20 series between South Africa and Pakistan. The news has been revealed by chief executive officer of PCB namely Wasim Khan.
While having a conference with media, Wasim said that PCB has got some good news from CSA. As per the positive results, PCB has gained by CSA simply means that their are higher chances for T20 series and South Africa’s national team will be visiting Pakistan. Also after a joyful tour that Sri Lankans have experienced in Pakistan recently, SCB have decided to send their full strength side to Pakistan for tests in December 2020. Wasim said that SCB will be confirming their decision within a week.
“The gates to international cricket returning properly to Pakistan have been opened up and there is no doubt that the recent tour by the Sri Lankan team to Pakistan has helped us alot.” He said.
Pakistan had faced South Africa last time in Pakistan tour of South Africa 2018-19 which began from test matches on 26th December and lasted till T20 series on 6th February. Pakistan lost in an awful manner in test series, ODI series and then T20s as well. According to Misbah, they wish to play aggressive cricket onwards which in most probable ways can lift them to victory if they would really be aggressive in the matter which they haven’t been so far in recent times.
