Slow and Steady West Indies Showed Some Resilience

In Reply to Pakistan’s 376, Hosts resumed their innings at 14 on Day-3. Only 204 runs were added in 89 overs for the loss of 5 wickets, on a difficult pitch hosts somehow showed some resilience but they are still behind by a huge margin of 158 runs with 5 wickets in hand.

The mindset of West Indies team is to carry this match towards a draw to keep the series level and they know the fact that they have to play on day-5, that’s why they have scored only 200 odd runs on day-3.

Yasir Shah provided the early breakthrough and took the first three wicket’s of West Indies to keep the hopes a live for Pakistan team to make a comeback and clinch the historical series.

Pakistan needs to back up themselves by uprooting West Indies on day-4 with in the first session with a lead of 80-90 runs and by some quick batting they should score 200 odd runs at the end of day-4 with a lead of possibly 280-300.

West Indies needs to capitalize on what they have did so far, they needs to keep Pakistan out of this test to avoid a historical defeat.

Day-4 is going to be interesting and we will be in a position to give a clue where this match stands?
