Right-handed opening batsman Imran Nazir always mesmerized fans through his aggressive batting style. Despite facing ups and downs in his career, Imran Nazir’s popularity did not take a nosedive.
Nazir played eight tests, 79 One-day Internationals, 25 T20 matches, representing Pakistan.
For four years, Imran Nazir battled with illness related to severe joint pain and finally defeated it.
“I am thankful to the Shahid Afridi Foundation and the Pakistan Cricket Board for helping me through some tough times,” he added.
Nazir stated that he is returning to cricket after recovering from a joint injury. He added, “I will see how much I can play by judging the quality of my game.”
The cricketer said that he has gotten many offers from cricket leagues.
Imran Nazir has now made a comeback and initiated training at LCC Ground Lahore. The cricketer said he would pray to perform in the sport again and his prayers got answered.
He said that his family and fans prayed a lot for him. Nazir especially mentioned fellow cricketer Shahid Afridi, who assisted him in making a comeback in the sport.
Nazir said that he is completely fit and wants to play cricket again.
He further said that last year he got an opportunity to perform in Pakistan Super League, however, he was not 100 per cent fit. “If I get a chance to play now then I will,” added the cricketer.
