Shahid Afridi and Gautam Gambhir are well-known to take a dig at each other since 2007 whether in or out of the playing grounds. Earlier in 2019, Afridi defines Gambhir a person with attitude and no records in cricket. Afridi, in his biography, Game Changer, written by Wajahat S. Khan, says that,
“Some rivalries were personal, some professional. First the curious case of Gambhir. Oh! poor Gautam. He & his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He who has no great records just a lot of attitude,”
Recently, Afridi once again has called Gambhir a person with no personality who shows attitude in the ground like he is something more than Don Bradman.
“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He, who has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He, who behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond.”
However, Gambhir hasn’t responded yet. India and Pakistan have always been two rivals nations since their birth. The sense of fuming hatred created by politics has risen to such an extent that it has destroyed peace and spirit of cricket among both the parties. It will be hellfire controversial scenario when Gambhir will make a comeback as media today craves for such news.
