Global Zalmi League 2018 Teams and Fixture

The Global Zalmi League — owned and organised by Peshawar Zalmi is set to commence Sunday in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, with 16 foreign teams scheduled to participate.

The franchise had organised the Zalmi World Cup before the start of the second season of the PSL and will now feature these 16 teams in the Zalmi Super League. What makes this competition global is that the 16 teams are going to represent 16 different countries.

There will be a Global Zalmi team that will have a 15-man squad consisting of players from all over the world. The 16 teams have been divided into four groups of four sides apiece, with every side playing three games each. This will be followed by four Eliminator matches, two semi-finals and the final will be played on February 19, just days before the start of the PSL.

Peshawar Zalmi is quite serious about becoming the best ever Pakistan Super League franchise and they are building on that ambition with new plans and strategies in place. The 2017 PSL winners Zalmi have now decided they will have their own Global Zalmi Super League in 2018.

This Global Zalmi League will played before the start of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League and there will be a total of 16 teams from 15 different countries  which will take part in the competition for the GZL cup.
