Guptill set to make ODI return for New Zealand after recovery

New Zealand, who have not been having the greatest of times in the field, being down 2-1 in a five match ODI series against South Africa, the black caps might be looking to make some much needed changes to their squad.

Tom Latham is due to be axed for the return of Guptill, where as Dean Brownlie maintains his position for the Hamilton ODI. It’s been a month since Guptill has not batted in the middle, he may face some troubles but it is fair enough to say that the Kiwi’s require him in their squad badly.

“We’re delighted to have Martin back in the squad, it just makes some things a lot easier for us” said Hesson.

Tom Latham has had 6 single figure scores in his last 6 ODI’s out of which 3 were ducks. Martin Guptill who averages 42.52 from 142 ODI’s shall be looking forward to kill the top order drought’s for New Zealand and get them back to that winning spree.

The fourth ODI clash between New Zealand and South Africa will kick start on 1st March 2017 at 14:00PM NZ time and 06:00AM PKT.
