“I want my batsman to chase 350 more often in ODI’s” – Inzamam Ul Haq

Chief selector of Pakistan, Inzamam Ul Haq addressed Dr. Nauman Niaz in the final of Pakistan cup and exchanged some positive discussion he had done with the young Pakistani batsmen.

“I talked to Sami Aslam and few other youngsters and asked them to play aggressive cricket with positive intent and raise their strike rates, they actually changed their approach and started playing fast” Inzamam Ul Haq when talking to Nauman Niaz.

“Pakistan basically require a batsman who can play fast, solid technique is not the requirement in modern day cricket anymore. I want my batsmen to chase 350 more often in ODI’s” said Inzamam Ul Haq.

Sami Aslam scored a fiery 169 of 125 balls against Balochistan where federal chased down the target of 376 in 50 overs. Later in the Pakistan Cup final that took place in Rawalpindi; Sami came up and scored a century that led his team Federal to victory in the Pakistan Cup.

Inzamam’s sayings made a big impact on the youngsters and change portrayed upon most of them.
