Pakistan Champions Trophy Winning Team with few changes is ready to challenge World XI at their home ground after 2015 when they faced Zimbabwe for a limited over series. ICC sent a match official to Pakistan for the first time after 9 years.
Only 4 of the 16 players in the squad have played International cricket on Pakistani soil, out of which 3 played against Zimbabwe in 2015. Those 4 players include Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Ahmed Shehzad and Imad Wasim.
Current World XI Squad which consists of players from South Africa, England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Australia. None of these players have represented World XI before,
ICC World XI will play their first ever T20I on September 12th. This will also be the first match for ICC World XI outside Australia. Pakistan will be the third team after Australia and Asia XI to play a match against ICC World XI.

This will be 3rd T20I International at Gaddafi Stadium, and 4th T20I on Pakistani Soil. This fact also highlights and represents the drought of International Cricket in Pakistan that only 3 T20Is out of 618 are hosted in Pakistan which is less than 0.5% of total matches.
