World XI Gives Pleasant Remarks.

Cricket comes back to Pakistan when ICC agreed to send World XI to the home grounds of Pakistan. There was joy and cheerfulness everywhere on the faces of Pakistanis. Not only the people of Pakistan had good things to say about cricket coming back to Pakistan but the World XI players also didn’t hesitant to express their love for Pakistan.

Remarks before the match:

Faf du Plessis: “In a few years’ time when I will sit with my family this is something I can really be proud of”.

Imran Tahir: “It’s a brilliant thing for cricket to come back to Pakistan”.

Ben cutting: “I’ll tell my kids in 20 years that I helped taking cricket back to Pakistan”.

Paul Collingwood: “Can’t wait to play in an International T20 again in front of a passionate Pakistan crowd”.

Grant Elliott: “The Gaddafi Stadium is going to be pumping tonight. Can’t wait”.

David Miller: “Great preparations before today’s game.

The captain of the World XI team praised Pakistan team for their brilliant performance in the first T20 match and the other players also expressed how they felt in the first T20 they played at Gaddafi stadium.

Faf du Plessis: It was a good game and I thought Pakistan played really well. They have great variations in their bowling attack and ours was probably a bit one-dimensional. We got starts, but couldn’t kick on. Quick turn-around and make sure we rest up and come fresh tomorrow. It’s great to play in front of the Pakistani crowd and hopefully the stadium will be full for the next 2 games to go”.

Imran Tahir: “I will cherish every moment from start to finish of the start game today. Unbelievable atmosphere and great hospitality”.

Grant Elliot: “Great support tonight for the opening game. Well done to Real PCB”.

Paul Collingwood: “When I’ll look back that I was a part of the World XI & was a part of this cause, I will be a proud man”

Ben Cutting: “Game 1 last night was a great experience to be part of . Game 2 tonight at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore”.
