After the strike of COVID-19 at the UAE destined venues, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were highly troubled to witness a total of thirteen positive tests. With the players sent under isolation, they were subjected to follow the restricted protocols for fourteen days on a higher demand before resuming practising actions.
Later, two more franchises evaluated the COVID-19 positive tests and the figure rose to fifteen. Before it was too late, the BCCI took no time to reveal the formal schedule amidst the rising cases or else, they would have been troubled with fears of scrapping up.
A source from the health panel revealed that almost 3,500 tests have been already conducted and a total of 20,000 tests will be judged to keep a track of everyone’s health. Each of the attendants will be testing after every fifth day. To keep the cases away, players are not allowed to make random visits and the movement has been controlled in between hotels and stadiums.

“During the course of the tournament, we will be conducting over 20,000 tests. The movement of the players and other officials of the IPL are strictly restricted between the hotel and the stadium.”
It is to be noted that the much-awaited drive is to ride on 19th September between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
