The decision on the Indian Premier League (IPL) that was hanging by a thread due to the deferred fate of the ICC T20 World Cup could get unclouded ways for organizing.

The league that was to be kicked off by 29th March got terminated amidst the globally ill pandemic until further notice. However, the BCCI, looking for every possible means to hold its cash-rich T20 league in 2020, was bursting out of a longer duration of wait and patience as ICC, knowing that Australia has disclosed lesser possibilities of the World Cup, wasn’t revealing the permanent cancelation.

After the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has canceled the Asia Cup that was to be commenced in September, BCCI first got September’s vacant window. After ICC has finally postponed the World Cup shortly, they now have the full vacancy to initiate the cash-rich league in full swing having September-November’s massive window.

The cancelation of the two mega-events is a good sign for BCCI as they were waiting for so long for World Cup’s cancelation slamming ICC for deferring decisions despite no or weak possibilities of the tournament.

However, there is no official announcement yet, but according to many reliable sources, the decision would be implemented.

It is to be noted that the unofficial reports maintained the preparation and arrangements of IPL franchises for traveling to UAE as the venue has been elected to organize the league. India, still going through the rising number of cases, is hard to hold a single match at the national venue. Moving IPL outside the country, UAE is an excellent venue selected by BCCI.
