Can Pakistan Pull Things Back at Dubai In The Day/Night Test?
We are a few days removed from the First Test which had seen the Lankan Lions defeating Pakistan which undoubtedly was quite unexpected considering the kind of form Sri Lanka was in before heading into this series and looking at Pakistan’s good Record in UAE and Abu Dhabi. But Few good performances can turn the tables around which is exactly what Sri Lanka did that led them to a 21 run victory over the hosts.
Second and the Last Test of the series will start from tomorrow at Dubai which will be a Day/Night Test match. Though The Lankans are off to a good start in the series by winning the first test but Pakistan still have the upper hand heading into this test as the last time they played a Day/Night test match at Dubai, they showed absolute dominance.
Some changes maybe required in the Pakistani Playing 11 mainly in the bowling department. Spinners will play a key role with the Pink ball so giving the young Mohammad Asghar an opportunity along with Yasir Shah will be beneficial for Pakistan. Hassan Ali is doubtful for the test so that makes place for Wahab Riaz in the team who can also be effective Bowling under Dubai conditions. Sri Lanka should go with the same side, everyone performed well previously and some changes can ruin the winning combination.
It will be interesting to see this Test match as everyone thought this would be an Easy series for Pakistan to clinch but Sri Lanka showed good fight in the first test and created some excitement by keeping this series alive.
