Match Report : 1st T20I Pakistan Vs World XI.

An Astonishing tour to Pakistan which is bringing the tons of happy smiles, loads of happiness, trucks of memorable moments and competitive cricket. This revives back the cricket to Pakistan which is a desperate need for the fans right now. Well, today was the first match World XI won the toss and elected to bowl first.

By looking at the Scorecard, we can see some brilliant performances from Pakistan and good effort from World XI. It all started from consecutive fours from the first 2 deliveries by Fakhar, later he edged to Amla and was caught. Then came the man in form, Babar Azam he played a blinder innings of 87 with some graceful wrist moments, beautiful cover drives and glorious shots. Along with him, Ahmad Shahzad was struggling but kept rotating the strike and ended up on 39. This partnership was vital. After both of them were back to pavillion, Aggressive and flourishing cameos from Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik took Pakistan to the total 3 away from 200. Morne Morkel and Imran Tahir shared some good spells but Thisara Perera was totally distorted.

Second innings was also an innings to watch, Starting of with some extravagant handwork from Hashim Amla and Tamim Iqbal but later on they were wrapped up by the newly married man Rumman Raees. He lead the momentum but it was unfortunately ripped apart by Faf du Plessis when he scored a mighty 22 runs from Hassan Ali’s over. The match was being gripping in World XI’s hand when they needed 98 of 50 but then Shadab took Faf’s wicket and adding to it Elliot and Paine also lost their wickets. Perera and Sammy played their part but it was too late and Pakistan won by 20 runs.

This match was Nonetheless an experience for World XI cricketers as they played with other teammates for the first ever time so in the next matches players from their team is being expected to play something big.
