Pakistan Cricket Board announced squad for T20 series against New Zealand

After the end of the series of One-day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals against Australia, Pakistan are going to play against New Zealand from October 31.

There will be three Test matches, three ODIs and three T20Is, to be played from October 31 to December 7 in the United Arab Emirates.

The first of the three T20I matches will be played at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. It will be followed by second and third T20Is at Dubai on November 2 and 4, respectively.

Later, three One-day Internationals will be played on Nov 7, 9 and 11 at Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Then, the Test series of three matches will be played from Nov 16.

The National Selection Committee after consultation with Captain and Head Coach has retained the 15-member T-20 squad that played against Australia for the upcoming three-match T-20I series against New Zealand.

The 3-match T-20I series against New Zealand will commence from October 31 in Abu Dhabi. The remaining two matches of the series will be played in Dubai on November 2 and 4, respectively.

Earlier, Pakistan thrashed Australia by 33 runs in third T20I to complete a clean sweep in the three-match series in Dubai on Sunday.

After opting to bat first, the Men in Green posted a competitive total of 150 for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs, where Babar Azam finished with the top score of 50 off 40 balls with the help of five fours and one six.

He was well-supported by his opening partner Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 39 off 38 balls with the help of two fours and three maximums.

For Australia, pacer Mitchell Marsha was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed two wickets.

In reply, the visitors had a difficult time once again with the bat and were bowled out for just 117 in the 20th over.
