Pakistan Hockey Team Set To Play Qualifying Round In London

Pakistan hockey team will depart to play world cup qualifying round in London. Pakistan recently played a three match series against Ireland in Ireland where they lost a series by 2-0. The first match ended up in a draw 2-2. Ireland won the second and third match by the same score line that is 3-2 to wrap up the series 2-0. Former Olympian Tariq Zaman said: “Pakistan did play well on the series against Ireland but I’m hopeful our team would do well in WHL semifinal and would qualify for the world cup.”

As Tahir Zaman instructed Pakistan team to focus on qualifying round instead of particularly focusing on the Indo-Pak clash.
