PAK v WI

Pakistan on the Verge of Victory in 1st Test

Pakistan cricket team is just 6 balls away from victory in the 1st test of the series. All they need to do is just bowl 6 wicket taking deliveries to open there account on a victory note, while West Indies needs to play almost throughout the day to save the game. WI still trailing by 28 runs with just 6 wickets in hand and they have to face Yasir Shah who has already rung the alarming bells for Windies top order.

WI are facing almost similar situation like the 1st innings when they lost 5 Wickets for just 71 runs but Holder & Bishoo along with Dowrich took West Indies away from collapse. West Indies are highly relying on their lower order to save them from the jaws of defeat.

Conditions are very much in favour of Pakistan, cracks are very much open and Yasir has taken all the 4 wickets and with 2 night watchmen on crease its mean Pakistan are going to strike early. Last year West Indies saved a dramatic test match against India where all odds were in favour of India but you have to re-think and plan your strategy when you are facing world’s best bowling line up.

For Misbah & Younis this series is a farewell series and the whole team will put on there all efforts to say them goodbye on a high note.

Early on Day-4 Misbah Ul Haq becomes the only Asian captain to score 4000 plus runs as a test captain and played a crucial innings to extend the lead to 121 which I already mentioned in my previous article on Day-4. You have to give credit to the attacking field placement by Misbah Ul Haq as compared to Jason Holder.

West Indies have to trust their abilities to take this game away from Pakistan and they are very much capable to do this, all they need to do is focus and plan strategy session by session.

My view on Yasir was spot on and he did the same to ensure that my arguments were valuable. Still too early to say anything but for me this game isn’t going to stay longer than 1 session or 1 & half session permitting to weather.
