Ahsan Ali wants to emulate Rohit Sharma’s doings in cricket

Ahsan Ali's favorite batsman is Indian current opener Rohit Sharma and he wants to emulate what Sharma is doing for his team since years.

The uncapped opener who is included in the squad of three match T20I series against Bangladesh idolizes Indian opener; Rohit Sharma and wants to emulate what Rohit is doing at present for Team India.

The number one T20 side after following many defeats has now came up with bit different strategies and changes in the squad. Ahsan Ali is one of the selected player for T20 squad and wishes to perform like Rohit possessing his own abilities and capabilities.

Team Pakistan had horrible 2019 calendar year followed by defeat in nine completed fixtures, including a whitewash against Sri Lanka at their own home ground.

Dual role Misbah-ul-Haq after seeing many of the unfortunates, has dropped as many as almost seven players including regular opening couple of Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq and has came up with something new hoping that it will work in the upcoming series.

Apart from this, Pakistan have included experience duo of M.Hafeez and Shoaib Malik for the relevant series to make side more efficient and challenging for the opposition.

Ahsan Ali is excited and eagerly waiting to play for the national side emulating his idol; Rohit Sharma. He while talking to the media (Pakpassion.com) said,

“My favorite current batsman is Rohit Sharma, the Indian regular opener. I have a game plan and will try to show it to the world and try to become one of the Pakistan’s best opener. I will also try to execute my plans trying Pakistan to win the series and to play for Pakistan as long as possible.”

Playing and performing for ones country is a dream of every patriot and every cricketer. Ahsan is one of them. He feels that Bangladesh is a tough opposition to have hold on and is looking forward in a challenging way.

“Bangladesh is a tough opposition and it will be a competitive series against them. Every cricketer dreams to play in-front of his home crowd. I hope the crowd will come in a surplus amount to support us. I am not pressurize by the circumstances since I have already played pressure games in PSL.”

It is to be noted that Pakistan training camp is under its way in Lahore at Gadaffi stadium for the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh starting from January 24.
