The game of cricket has always showed the positive side of Pakistan. The Army has been actively involved in the betterment of this sport. They also have been working with the PCB to bring cricket back to Pakistan.
The PSL final, which was held at Lahore, was over looked by the army and a huge amount of army men were deployed around the stadium for the security of the players. The World XI tour was made possible by the untiring hard work of the Military.
This evening, the military spokesperson, Major General Asif Ghafoor announced that on 21th of September a friendly cricket match between Pakistan XI and UK Media XI will be held in North Waziristan to showcase the good side of the country. The match has been organized by collaboration of NWA and Peshawar Zalmi.

According to a report, the Pakistan XI will be consisted of Inzamam ul Hag, Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed, Umar Gul, Junaid Khan, Riaz Afridi, Wajahatullah Wasti and Kamran Akmal.
A few reports say that the match will be held in Younis Khan Stadium. The match will be live telecasted on PTV Sports and will start at 9:45 AM PST. The Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa will be the chief guest. (Reports)
