Irfan Pathan strikes back over Abdul Razzaq’s conflicting controversial statements on Jasprit Bumrah

Recently, former Pakistani cricketer, Abdul Razzaq has articulated some disrespectful and controversial statements about Indian players. Along with Irfan Pathan, he has taken Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah who are No. 1 ODI batsman and bowler respectively on the line of fire of his disrespecting words as well.

Instead of lauding them up on behalf of their outstanding performances, Razzaq chose an opposite path and is being slammed over social media. About kohli, he said that he doesn’t possess the same class as of Tendulkar and claimed Bumrah as a ‘baby bowler’.

“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,” said Razzaq over Indian medium pacer, Bumrah.

“Look at Virat Kohli when he scores he scores. Yeah, he is a good player for them and is performing consistently, but I don’t place him in the same class as Sachin Tendulkar, who was a different class altogether,” Razzaq had said about Kohli.

However, Irfan Pathan has recalled Miandad’s words and posted a tweet asking fans about not to pay attention over these lame folks and just to smile. Miandad however, in 2004 had left a number of his comments for Irfan Pathan. Instead of praising the India youngster who has highest number of wickets against Pakistan (27) or challenging him to prove himself in Pakistan, Miandad mocked the left-arm pacer, saying,

“Your Irfan Pathans are in every gully and mohalla  of Pakistan. We don’t even bother to look at them.”

Irfan has recently replied by posting a tweet reminding of previous words of Miandad that,

“Irfan jese bowlers hamari gali gali mein paae jate hay” par jab jab ye galli bowler inke samne khela har baar inki gilliyan nikal ke rakh di. Request to all fans not to pay any heat to those unnecessary over the top statements. Just read and 😃…. #bumrah #ViratKohli”
