The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has given clearance to Kashif Bhatti as he has been tested negative for COVID-19. Shockingly, on a similar day he has tested negative for COVID-19, he was tested positive a few hours back.
Consequently, the player was advised for self-isolation at Derbyshire where the rest of the team is practicing.
ECB clears Kashif Bhatti, teammates in no danger
Kashif was one of the three players who were tested positive twice when PCB conducted a test before giving clearance ahead of England’s tour. After being eligible, he joined the squad at Worcestershire on 8th July along with Haider Ali, and Imran Khan.
However, Haris Rauf’s fans will be able to see his pace delivered on the ground as he will be tested negative for COVID-19 just once more.
It is to be noted that the home-siders will be seen in action against Kashif’s national side from 5th August. The sides will be featuring to three-match test series that will be followed by a three-match T20 series. All of the games are decided to be commenced in the stadiums without spectators.
