Mushtaq Ahmed claims West Indies players told him India didn’t want Pakistan to qualify for ICC World Cup 2019

Mushtaq Ahmed, the former Pakistani cricket player, has claimed that the three cricketers from West Indies, Jason Holder, Chris Gayle, and Andre Russell, told him how India did not want Pakistan to qualify for the semifinals of the ICC World Cup 2019.

Back in World Cup 2019, if India had won the match against England, Pakistan could have qualified for the semifinals. As India lost, Pakistan chances diminished. Recently, few excerpts from the book of Ben Stokes “on fire” has got viral and misunderstood highly by many Pakistanis.

Many people have thought that Ben meant to mention India deliberately lost to England in order to kick Pakistan out of the tournament. Although Ben revealed all of it as twisting of words, some figures have stuck to it and calling it a match with India’s no intention to win hatching a conspiracy against Pakistan.
