Pakistan Cricket Board banned Sarfraz Ahmed for 2 months

Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed who is the back-bone of Pakistan cricket team has been banned for 2 months by Pakistan Cricket Board.

Sarfraz Ahmed who has been in terrific form in 2018 and amassing runs has been as easy as a walk in the park for him will miss the upcoming series against West Indies which is kicking off from 1st April.

Pakistan cricket fans were expecting a-lot from him in the upcoming series against West Indies, but there is some bad news for all the Pakistan cricket admirers.

According to sources, Sarfraz Ahmed had a fight with his team mates during the practice sessions and due to which he’s banned for 2 months by Pakistan Cricket Board. Sarfraz Ahmed will stay out of action for the next 6-7 weeks.

Who will lead the side against West Indies?

Head coach of Pakistan Cricket Team Mickey Arthur said that it’s a huge blow for their side, but they still have some fine experienced players in the side to help the side out in these precarious situations.

He further said that Sarfraz Ahmad’s absence will have a significant impact on their winning chances in series against West Indies.

He also confirmed that Pakistani Flamboyant opener will be taking up the leadership responsibilities for series against West Indies. “Ahmed Shahzad will be the captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team for series against West Indies and Rahat Ali will be the vice-captain.

“It’s good to have such experienced players in the side to help the side out in these precarious situations,” Mickey Arthur said.
