In the wake of humiliating 5-0 defeat in the hands of New Zealand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has come up with a policy aka players management draft to regulate the number of leagues a player participates in so that they can keep a check on his fitness.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering to implement a players’ management policy to regulate the appearances of cricketers in various T20 and other format leagues around the world.
PCB will now practice players’ rotation policy just like Cricket Australia. From now onwards, cricketers will not be allowed to participate in all leagues across globe. They players will be allowed to participate in only two leagues annually.
Key players will not be allowed to participate in Hong Kong and Bangladesh-type leagues.
Analysts have termed injuries as a main cause of defeat in the recent five-match One Day International series with Kiwis.
