Pakistan has bowled out Bangladesh at a terrible total of 233 runs as the first innings of the first day of the first test happening at Rawalpindi Stadium has ended.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, the left-handed Pakistani pacer has been the freakish and bizarre figure helping out the national team to abandon Bangladesh from operating with the bat well.
Afridi dug out four wickets yielding only 53 runs in 21.5 overs and has become the 1st Pakistani left-handed speedster to have four wickets in the first innings of the Rawalpindi test. He is now the second Pakistani bowler to reach this remark as the first one spotted is Azhar Mehmood who has achieved the milestone back in 1997 against West Indies.
These are the most wickets by the Pakistani pacers in the 1st innings of Rawalpindi test:
Azhar Mehmood in 1997: 53-4 (20.5overs) vs West Indies
Shaheen Shah Afridi in 2020: 53-4 (21.5overs) vs Bangladesh
Pakistan, that are having the same playing XI as that of against Sri Lanka last time in the match played against Karachi, have produced another bowler with an extraordinary performance that is Muhammad Abbas. Abbas delivering some divergent piece of performance ended up with three wickets for 19 runs in 17 overs along with bowling 9 maides as well.
Other bowlers that might have helped the side to bowl the opposition out demolishing their batting line-ups are Haris Sohail and the youngster Naseem Shah who have picked two and one wickets respectively.
It is to be noted that previously, Pakistan has won the T20I series against Bangladesh in-front of their home crowd by 2-0 clean sweeping them as the third and last T20 match was called off due to rain. Pakistan could make it for the test as well as they have begun with some extra performance so that predictability might be positive.
The second test will be played after the Pakistan Super League will be ended with the two months gap in between at Karachi, National Stadium.
