Players Pakistan Needs To Look Out For In The Sri Lankan Clash

Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka is going to be played on the twelfth of June in Cardiff. It’s going to be an attention-grabbing match as it will decide which team will make its way into the semis.

Pakistan will have to be careful about some players in Sri Lanka because they are new and have barely played against Pakistan and Pakistan team don’t have a clear idea of tackling them.

  • Kusal Mendis: A wicket keeper-batsmen who was in red hot form against India and scored magnificent 89 runs on 93 balls with the help of 11 fours and 1 six. He has been a part of 27 ODI matches in which he has scored 945 runs with a strike rate of 86.78 and an average of 37.8. The highest score he has made is 102. He has 10 fifties and 1 hundred.
  • Asela Gunaratne: A batting all-rounder who scored decent 34 runs on 21 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes recently against India. He has played 15 ODI matches in which he has scored 357 runs with a strike rate of 89.7 and an average of 35.7. The highest score he has finished on is 114. He has 0 fifties and 1 hundred. Next comes his bowling in which he has taken 11 wickets on 444 balls with an economy of 4.91.
