Pakistan Super League’s inaugural season was played in 2016 and since then with every year, it has succeeded in reaching new heights. Tomorrow on 19th February 2021, the sixth edition of PSL is set to begin.
Management working hard, teams training hard, fans over the moon is the type of routine right now. Ticket sales have already been gone and the stadiums Karachi and Lahore will be the only ones who will be able to witness the recent season.
The commentators’ panel is star-studded. Simon Doull, JP Duminy, Pommie Mbangwa, David Gower, Dominic Cork, Alan Wilkins, Danny Morrison, Ramiz Raja, Bazid Khan, Urooj Mumtaz, Sana Mir, Tariq Saeed, Sikander Bakht are the eminent people who will be making the games interesting with the talent of their voices.
Keeping in mind the pandemic situation and in accordance with the new normal, there will be no live opening ceremony like the previous years but a recorded ceremony will be aired.
Well-known celebrities will be showcasing their skills. Atif Aslam, Imran Khan, Humaima Malik, and the Groove Mera gang(Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig, Young stunners) are the big names who would be seen tomorrow on the big screens at 6 45 pm.
The first match will be played at 8 pm sharp, Pakistani time. The defending champions, Karachi Kings, and the one-time winner Quetta Gladiators will compete tomorrow. Only time will tell that which team will be off to a great start.
