Chris Gayle was the hottest pick in last two seasons. Lahore and Karachi picked him in season I and season II respectively. But he failed to impress his fans and couldn’t led the teams to winning stand. He scored just 103 runs from 5 matches at an average of 20.60, in the season I from Lahore Qalandars. In the second season, he played for Karachi Kings and scored 160 runs from 9 matches at an average of 17.77. That was the main reason, behind he left unpick for the season III. Sources say that, his unavailability throughout the season is also the main factor. Because he has national duty to perform during that period as he has to play 2019 World Cup Qualifiers from March 1st to April 4th.
