After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Sammy’s Zalmi restricted Sarfaraz’s gladiators on the knock of 148 in 20 overs on the loss of 5 wickets declaring target of 149 for themselves for the second innings.
In the ongoing second innings, Peshawar Zalmi is shining with the bat as Kamran Akmal’s splendid shots are working out. So many boundaries including a couple of sixes and fours, Akmal has rocked the ground with his fans chanting for him and Zalmi.
Although his strike rate has fallen down a bit as of 204.35 in the beginning, he was going somewhere around on the SR of 300. He is just about to reach his century if destiny works further as well.
Kamran Akmal still holds the record for hitting most sixes in the HBL PSL adding up all prior seasons and now has added some more.
It is to be noted that in the history of PSL, Akmal is the only man to knock-off 8 sixes in an innings more than once.
Zalmi going absolutely fine are tracing for the victory, losing the only two wickets in their innings, as Gladiators are remaining with no hope and chasing for termination.
