“Cricket means the world to Pakistani fans,” says Dale Steyn

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have issued an initial list of platinum category players on Wednesday for upcoming fifth edition of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL). South African super fast bowler, Dale Steyn has been so fascinated for the first time to play the PSL and wills to be a part of relevant tournament which is to be held in Pakistan from February 2020.

It would be Steyn’s first visit to Pakistan after 2007 when he visited to South Africa’s voyage to terror savaged country.

“Cricket means the world to Pakistan”, said Dale Steyn.

Dale Steyn has told the media that he has seen passionate cricket fans in Pakistan and the craze of cricket in them which is in their veins will take him to Pakistan this time.

“I am super excited”, he said.

The pacer has retired from test cricket previously. His retirement was followed by his injuries and also to enhance his concentration more on shorter format cricket.

Also there would be another clash for fans to see between Steyn and No.1 T20 batsman Babar Azam. Last time, Babar smashed 10 boundaries to the fast bowler in just 31 balls and fans were extremely happy and cheering up in the Supersport Park in Centurion. The No. 1 T20 Batsman followed with another 5 boundaries in next 29 balls in victorious Test Match at Cape Town.

The registration window is open till 21 November for all overseas players. An updated list will be revealed later.
