PCB chooses June to reschedule rest of PSL

A virtual meeting was held between the Pakistan Cricket Board and franchise owners to decide on the future of Pakistan Super League season six which was postponed in early March. Several factors were examined and a collective decision was made that the remaining tournament would be scheduled in the month of June. This is backed by everyone who was present in the online discussion.

The reason why June was selected as the most suitable window is because May and April are booked and so are August and September.

The team would be returning from their tour of Zimbabwe on 13th May and would once again be leaving for the England tour at the end of June. Adjustment of matches is aimed to be done in a way that these tours won’t get affected.

Numerous concerns from people could be seen as PSL may clash with the Asia Cup which is an international tournament and to prefer league cricket over international cricket is kind of a risky business. However only time will tell how everything works out.
