PSL 5: Karachi Kings wind up magnificiently

As the second match of HBL PSL 2020 has just kicked off its first innings, franchise owned by Salman Iqbal, Karachi Kings has set their magnificent impression among all with the bat destroying Zalmi’s bowling line-up scoring 201 on the loss of four wickets.

The team captained by Imad Wasim who is known to keep the economy low when it comes to bowling and one of the perfect all-rounders of Pakistan national squad did really well with the bat although Zalmi picked the first wicket in earlier times.

After the departure of Sharjeel Khan when Kings were on 25 in 2.6 overs, the consistent batsmen of all three formats from Pakistan, Babar Azam made it possible to cross 200 with his contribution of 78 runs on just 56 balls, number 1 T20 batsman for a reason with his classical knocks.

Along Babar, Imad the skipper reached his fifty too but was gone on exact half-century unluckily as Shoaib Malik dive for the ball successfully around the boundary.

It is to be noted that Karachi Kings has set their highest PSL score. The first highest score of PSL has been scored previously by Islamabad United against Lahore Qalandars knocking 238 in the 2019’s season.
