The team begins the journey of PSL by losing two consecutive matches against Karachi and Peshawar. It did defeat Quetta but overall could only win 2 out of 8 matches. Chances for qualifying became nominal when they lost the matches against Islamabad thus got the last position.

Season 2

Qalandars lost a well-fought game against Quetta in the first match later became propitious in beating Islamabad. In the next match, they put the lowest total in the history of PSL against Peshawar. The match still turned interesting but Lahore failed to cross the line. They were able to defeat their arch-rivals Karachi in one match but later suffered a defeat against them too. They also couldn’t defeat Quetta and Peshawar the next time they met. They once again finished last on the table and couldn’t qualify for the playoffs.

Season 3

Season 4

This year they were captained by AB de Villiers but the same fortune continued for them in 2019 too. Lost 7 out of their 8 games, meaning they weren’t eligible to qualify for the playoffs this year too.

Season 5

This year the team did see some of the darkness of the previous years but were lucky enough to bounce back in the latter half of PSL. Not only they reached the playoffs this year but also were able to play against Karachi in the final. Unfortunately, they didn’t put up that good of a fight to win the title but this season was surely the most prosperous season for them.

Wish them the very best of luck for season six.
