QeAT 2020-21: Central Punjab qualify for final

Central Punjab qualify for final: Central Punjab (CP) have declared a victory over Southern Punjab (SP) in the Quaid e Azam Trophy 2020-21 (QeAT 2020-21). The thrilling victory came up for CP as the Hasan Ali leading side spared ten wickets in their last inning.

After winning the toss, SP chose to bowl first at State Bank Ground. CP, having full command smashed 493 runs losing only 7 wickets, and decided to declare.

However, in SP’s first innings, the side was blown out on just 187 runs left for a trail. They continued for the final inning and got a lead by 62 runs as they made 368 runs once again falling short on wickets.

Later, in the last inning of Central Punjab, the opening batsmen Mohammad Akhlaq and Mohammad Saad added 38 and 25 runs on 42 and 188 balls respectively saving ten wickets on 63 runs naming a tremendous win to their side leading towards the final.

QeAT 2020-21: Central Punjab qualify for final

Notably, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are already waiting to combat with the CP in the final that is to be organized at the National Stadium, Karachi on 1st January 2021.
