Royal Challangers Bangalore – The Down Fall

Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the most dynamic and catastrophic team of IPL. It consists of some of  the best players in the world such as Christopher Henry Gayle, Ab de Villiers, Shane Watson and Virat Kohli. RCB have failed to get any kind of momentum throughout this tournament.

With so many defeats they have failed to qualify for play offs. RCB is not getting its player’s combination right, Gayle gets out in opening overs, Virat and Ab de villiers have not been able to get back their forms.

RCB is continuously changing it’s opening combinations. There have been 5 different openers for RCB this season. This shows the low-level of its players confidence.

Shane Watson who was thought to be the most valuable player of RCB, lost all his reputation with his horrifying form.

Before the start of IPL, RCB’s bowling was supposed to be its negative but the way bowlers have performed in this IPL is quite admirable. Mills and Milne bowled some tight bouncers and slower ones. Top performers for RCB this season was Samuel Badree and Yuzvendra Chahal. They made opponent batsmen struggle to score runs.

Kedhar Jadhav is the only batsman from RCB who proved himself to be a good future prospect for them. He played some splendid shots and scored many runs for his team to survive in this tournament but team didn’t respond.

As RCB is out of the tournament, management should focus on winning remaining matches to get some pride back.
