Statistical Report of Pakistan ODI Team’s Performance against West Indies

Pakistan team has beaten WI 2-1 in recently concluded series.There was plenty of good performances from Pakistani players as well some perform blow expectations. We have rated players performances from ODI series.

Ahmed’s scores in series read as 67,5 and 3.He started well with a fifty in 1st game but fails to deliver in next 2 games.His strike rate in this series is also very poor 67.56.

Being selected as a regular batsman, he disappointed everyone as he failed to deliver to score runs and very ordinary in fielding.His strike rate was 89.47.

Babar played really well in this series as he was under pressure after being demoted in batting order but responded with a match winning knock. His strike rate was 88.He was also brilliant in fielding.

He was the pick of the player from series as he was under pressure for not performing well at higher level but he played outstandingly well both with bat and ball.His strike rate was 88.16.

Shoaib Malik          8.5/10

Malik was man of the series for his brilliant contribution towards his side’s series victory. He was athletic during field and contributed well.His strike rate was 100.

Sarfaraz Ahmed       8/10

M: 3 R: 70 Avg: 70 SR: 107.69

First series as full time captain and he took his side to victory.He was good in captaining his side and have some useful contributions in batting as well.

Imad Waseem           7.5/10

M: 3 R: 49 Avg: 49 SR: 119.51

M: 3 W: 1 Avg: 74 Eco: 3.7

Imad was good with bat as he was part of a match winning partnership. He was good with ball as well but he wasn’t able to pick a lot of Wkts.

Shadab Khan           7/10

M: 3 W: 5 Avg: 29.80 Eco: 5.51

Being the debutant, he performed well but couldn’t deliver a match winning performance. He bowled well in 1st 2 games but in 3rd match on a slow turning pitch proved a little bit too expensive.

Hasan Ali               8.5/10

M: 3 W: 6 Avg: 18.33 Eco: 5.50 B: 5-38

Hasan gave a magnificent bowling performance in 2nd game and was good in last as well but proved too costly in first game. He also became first Pakistani since 2002 to take 2 fifer as a fast bowler.

Mohammed Amir    7.5/10

M: 3 W : 5 Avg: 27.20 Eco: 5.44

Amir was good in last 2 games but was failed to deliver in first game as WI pulled off their biggest chase in ODI history. He was good at death in last game.

Junaid Khan         7/10

M: 2 W: 3 Avg: 33.67 Eco: 6.31

Junaid was better than what his stats suggests.He bowled well in last 2 games and took early wickets. He looks good with older ball as well as he was using yorker and slower balls really well.

Wahab Riaz          3/10

M: 1 W: 1 Avg: 69 Eco: 7.66

Wahab disappointed everyone in 1st game and was not selected for last two games.He bowled badly in last part of the 1st ODI as WI got to victory.
