Younis khan is the highest run scorer for Pakistan in Test cricket and the only Pakistani player to score over 9,000 Test runs. Younis Khan’s 34 centuries are the highest number of Test centuries by a Pakistani cricketer. Younis Khan became the first Test batsman in history to score five centuries in the fourth innings on July 6 in the third test against Sri Lanka. Younis Khan has 6 double centuries in Test matches. Younis Khan became the third Pakistani cricketer to score a triple century in Test matches when he scored 313 against Sri Lanka in Karachi on 21 February 2009. Younis Khan is the only Pakistani player and 12th International player to achieve the milestone of scoring Test hundred against every other 9 Test playing nations. Younis Khan became the third Pakistani to reach 8500 runs in Test cricket on 6 May 2015.He was the 28th batsman overall. Younis Khan is the first and only Test cricketer to have scored a century in all 11 countries to have hosted Test matches. He is also the third Pakistani player to score 300 or more runs in an innings.. Younis also holds the record for most centuries by a Pakistani cricketer in Test cricket. Younis Khan was the 5th fastest batsman to reach 7500 runs, achieving the feat in just 90 matches. Younis Khan holds the record of most away centuries for a Pakistani; this is the second highest overall. Younis Khan is the first (and the only) Pakistani cricketer to take 100 catches in Test matches. Younis Khan has now scored 4000+ runs at number 3 in Test which is most by any Pakistan Cricketer with average in excess of 50’s.Younis Khan has most number of centuries (14) after the age of 35 among Pakistani cricketers. Younis Khan has scored three consecutive Test hundreds against Australia. Younis Khan is the only batsman to have 50+ averages in all the four innings of Tests. Younis Khan is involved in 63 hundred run partnerships in Tests cricket. Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq hold the record for most runs as partners in Test cricket for Pakistan. On 24 October 2015, he became the first Pakistani and 14th overall to score 9,000 runs in Test cricket.

Misbah is known for his consistency and calm captaincy. He led Pakistan to many victories and Pakistan also became the No 1 test team under his captaincy. He scored the second joint fastest fifty against Australia on 21 balls. He scored the fastest test century against Australia on 57 balls and shared the record with Sir Vivian Richards, which was later broken by Brendon McCullum of Newzeland. He became the first batsmen to score a test hundred after the age of 41 since Geoffrey boycott. He is the Pakistan’s most successful test captain with the record of 23 wins. He also holds an amazing record of being the Eighth Pakistani player to hit centuries in both innings of a test match. He is the only test captain to win 4 or more tests against a brilliant test side England. He has the record of most test centuries by any test captain. His name is also in one of 2017 “Wisden Cricketers of the Year”. His recognitions are: Pride of Performance award, ICC spirit cricketer of the year.
