Who is going to attend the PSL-4 final at National Stadium?

The excitement of cricket enthusiasts is at peak as the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 4 is all set to be played on Sunday (today) between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

Karachi’s National Stadium will be the place to be for cricket entertainment on Sunday as the two best and most popular teams – Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi – will clash in the sell-out final of the HBL Pakistan Super League final.

All roads will lead to the stadium as fans are expected to start arriving well before 6pm when the closing ceremony will start before the first ball is bowled at 8pm. Those who fail to get a ticket will regret missing the electric atmosphere, with a star-studded closing ceremony in the lead up to the highly charged final.

Without a doubt, double World Twenty20 winning former West Indies captain Daren Sammy will be the star attraction. Since the inaugural edition of the HBL PSL, Sammy has become an official ambassador of the league.

So vibrant are his displays on the field and his emotional and loving words for Pakistan, its people and its hospitality that Sammy has become one of Pakistan’s own.

Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor wished luck to the Pakistan Super League finalists, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, ahead of their much-awaited clash at Karachi’s National Stadium tonight.

In a tweet earlier today, the Pakistan military spokesperson conveyed his well-wishes to the two teams, and shared a promo of the March 23 Pakistan Day Parade with messages from local and overseas cricketers playing in PSL.

“…Good luck to teams playing PSL Final… City of Lights…..Pakistan Zindabad,” Major General Ghafoor wrote.

The preparations have been finalized for the occasion as Final of PSL Season 4 is all set to be played (today) between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

It has been reported that President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa are likely to grace the event with their presence, Dunya News claimed.

It’s not confirmed yet that Imran Khan and COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa is going to attend the final or not but there are reports that they will grace the event with their presence.

Imran Khan is the 22nd and current Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the National Stadium Karachi to inspect the arrangements and lauded the groundwork. The CM said the PSL has brought back liveliness in the city of lights.

The match will start at 08:00 PM (PST). Quetta Gladiators have an advantage over Peshawar Zalmi as they have defeated them thrice in the PSL 4 so far.

Both teams have played finals at least twice before. Quetta Gladiators are eagerly looking forward to win the trophy for the first time whereas Peshawar Zalmi have set an eye for victory in the tournament for second time.

Closing Ceremony:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has planned an impressive closing ceremony of the Pakistan Super League 2019.A galaxy of international stars will perform at the closing ceremony.

The ceremony will be hosted by one of the most popular anchors and singers, Karachi’s very own Fakhar-e-Alam. Spain’s football star Carles Puyol will be a special guest at the closing ceremony.

The leading performers to display their talent include Abrar-ul-Haq, Aima Baig, Shuja Haider, Fawad Khan, Young Desi with the final performance of the ceremony by the heart-throb Junoon.

The PCB has also planned a spectacular fireworks display, which will start after final ends.
